Cedar and his litter were born to a friendly neighborhood cat who is now spayed and adopted. Cedar is the most confident of the litter and the firstborn. Cedar should go with his brother Moon or to a home with another young cat

Chestnut and her siblings were born to a friendly mama in Highland Park. She is fifth born, has a chill vibe, loves to cuddle, and often stares off into space to contemplate the enormity of the cosmos. Chestnut should be with one of her siblings or at least one other younger cat

Robin and her siblings were born to a friendly mama in Highland Park. Robin is third born and has big middle child energy. She loves attention. In a litter of very playful kittens, Robin is by far the most playful and energetic. Robin is pretty independent but should go to a home with one of her siblings or at least one other young cat

Xochitl
Female, Kitten
Xochitl and her siblings were born to a friendly mama in Highland Park. Xochitl is the cuddliest in the litter, always on shoulders or a lap. Xochitl is very independent but should go to a home with one of her siblings or another young cat

Bud
Male, 10 years
Bud’s mom went to Palestine to visit family and was unable to return. She has given us her blessing to find Bud a calm home for the rest of his years. He is diabetic and needs an injection twice daily, which he takes with ease!

Rachel

Rachel was rescued by some teachers at Grant High School with her mama and siblings. She and all of her siblings got adopted but Rachel ended up being returned because her family’s dog was terrorizing Rachel. As a result, she can be a little shy now. But she loves treats and wand toys. She would do best in a home without any dogs.

Ross’s mama cat had him on the campus of Grant High School in Van Nuys. His mama and all of his siblings except for his sister Rachel have been adopted. Ross is a cuddle bug who loves to sleep with his human.

We rescued Pablo, aka Pablito, and his siblings from a backyard when they were babies. He would do best with a male guardian and a cat or dog friend.

English Breakfast

English Breakfast is sweet and playful but shy around big groups of cats, so he isn’t blossoming at the rescue. So he also needs a foster home. He would do well with his mom Odesa or one other young cat

Who We Are
Established in 2019, Butterscotch Castle Rescue has found loving permanent homes for more than a hundred cats in need in the Los Angeles area. The cat who started it all, Benjamin Butterscotch, welcomes all of his foster brothers and sisters with open paws until we find the right homes for them.
